Banner Dimensions

Banner ads can technically be any dimension, it's up to the owner of the website what space they want to allow for advertisements. Luckily for web designers a standard set of dimensions have emerged that have become fairly universal. The recent boom in mobile advertising has brought a whole new set of sizes which as of yet haven't found the same universal set of sizes in the way web banners have.

To give you an idea of some popular banner dimensions we've pulled together a few examples:
